Hello, I'm Jane and I'm a trained independent celebrant working throughout Suffolk and Norfolk.

ABOUT ME - I'm dedicated to personally creating bespoke ceremonies, services and celebrations.

Whatever your event may be, my motto is always 'Your Day - Your Way'.  I then work with you to make it happen; preparing and delivering a ceremony that reflects your personal story and preferences.

With compassion, understanding and (when appropriate) humour, I aim to create the perfect ceremony for you.

Working with me gives you the freedom to create the ceremony YOU want.  Unlike many civil and religious services, there is no restricted time limit on the day, (apart from funerals).  

There also NO obligation to include or exclude any religious traditions. 

HOW I WORK - I always recommend an initial informal meeting, (usually online via Zoom or similar), so we can introduce ourselves.  If you wish to go ahead with my services, I will schedule a face-to-face meeting.  

After the meeting I will start preparing the first draft of the ceremony.  This will be followed by a further face-to-face meeting so that any tweaks and changes can be made.  Other meetings, if necessary, can be arranged and I can always be reached by email or phone.  

A 50% booking fee will be required on booking my services, with the balance being paid four weeks before the ceremony.

MY BACKGROUND - Before qualifying as a celebrant, my training and background was in the performing arts.  I'm a Licentiate of the London College of Music and worked professionally for many years.  

In the past, I would be asked by friends and family to do a reading, eulogy or even sing at various weddings, vow renewals and funerals.  Training to become a celebrant seemed like a natural step.

When I'm not busy being a celebrant, I can be found walking on the beautiful beaches of the Suffolk coast, or with my husband, Andy, at our little cottage in very rural NW France.
